தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் 37ஆம் ஆண்டில் அடியெடுத்து வைக்கிறது.
கடந்த
காலங்களில் தமிழ்ச் சங்கத்தை திறம்பட நடத்திய அனைத்து
நிர்வாகிகளுக்கும் எங்கள் மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகள் பல.
நம் அடுத்த
தலைமுறையினரிடம் தமிழ் ஆர்வத்தை தமிழ்ச் சங்க நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மூலமாக ஏற்படுத்துவது
எங்களது தலையாய கடமை.
புலம்பெயர்ந்த தமிழர்கள் ஆகிய நாம்
ஒற்றுமையாக ஓரே அமைப்பாக நமது இருப்பை உணர்த்திக்கொண்டே இருப்பது முக்கியம்.
அதற்குத்தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் முக்கியமான ஓர்
தளம்.
நாம் நம்தமிழ்நாட்டில் இல்லாத
குறையைப்போக்கிக்கொள்ள சித்திரைத்திருவிழா,முத்தமிழ் விழா,குழந்தைகள் தினவிழா மற்றும்
பொங்கல் விழாக்களில் கலந்து கொள்ள ஓர் வாய்ப்பு.

சங்கங்கள் வெறும் பொழுது போக்கு மன்றங்கள் மட்டுமே என்கிற தவறான கருத்தை மாற்றி
அமைத்து அதனை ஓர் சீரிய நோக்கோடு எடுத்த செல்லுதல் எங்கள் கடமை.
தமிழ்நாட்டில்தாய்த்தமிழ்ப்பள்ளிகளை ஊக்குவைப்பது தமிழ்ச்
சங்கத்தின் தீராத ஆர்வம்.

Our reputed Tamil Sangam or Association enters into the 37th year.
Our sincere thanks to all the past board members of the Tamil Sangam who successfully carried the mantle so far.
Our primary goal is to organize cultural events for creating awareness and interest on Tamil language and culture among the younger generations.
Tamil Sangam is the only platform where the diaspora Tamils can unitedly assert our identity and existence in this melting pot of multiple cultures.
While we are separated miles away from our Tamil homelands, the Tamil sangam makes us feel at home by celebrating Chithirai Festival, Muthamizh Vizha, Children's Festival and Pongal Festival etc.
We also conduct activities for the intellectual growth of our people. The fortnightly Tamil literature reading club and the special literary meetings are examples.
We also conduct Tamil language classes for our children during the weekends.
Establishing a Tamil Cultural Center in the Capital City is our ultimate goal!
